Richie Sambora's daughter Ava is featured in Teen Vogue
It's a bird. It's a plane. It's Ava Sambora! The fifteen-year-old daughter of prime-time TV star Heather Locklear and Bon Jovi rocker Richie Sambora is a flier on her high school's cheerleading squad. "I like being thrown in the air!" she says. "It's an adrenaline rush." As it happens, when it comes to her budding acting career, the sky's the limit.'
"Ever since I was five or six, I've wanted to be an actress," she explains. "I loved attention and would always try to be onstage and in front of people. It was easy to figure out what I wanted to be." Apparently the apple didn't fall far from the tree. Her mom is best known for her roles in the ultrapopular eighties TV show Dynasty as well as the nineties smash hit Melrose Place, the Beverly Hills, 90210 spin-off. "I always wanted to be on set with her," Ava says of her mom. "One of her first films I visited was The Perfect Man. I was super-starstruck because I thought her costar Hilary Duff was the most awesome person in the world."
Soon, Ava will have her own fan club. She made her film debut last year in the highly anticipated Judd Apatow comedy This Is 40, the "sort-of sequel" to the blockbuster Knocked Up. Not too shabby for a first role. "It was an amazing experience," she says. "Everyone was so welcoming." Surprisingly, the only acting jitters this natural admits to are prompted by a familiar crowd: "I really only get nervous in front of my family and friends, because I want to impress them," she says. "I'm very on top of it with people I don't know."

Update from RadarOnline on Sambora vs Bon Jovi
"Another source tells Radar that Jon and Sambora have not spoken since April and talk of an intervention is way off the mark. “It’s disheartening that it has come to this. Richie is healthy. He is not drinking. He is sober. Indeed, he is the one who helped Jon’s daughter after she was arrested in November and Jon clearly wanted his daughter to get the same help that worked for Richie .” The source added, “For someone to suggest that Richie needs to leave Hollywood in order to preserve his health, it’s absurd.” The one thing that is certain in this cold war — relations between Jon and Sambora are at an all-time low and a reunion seems a long way off."

Richie Sambora sets the record straight to RumorFix
"Rocker Richie Sambora is coming exclusively to RumorFix to set the record straight on a nasty rumor.http://rumorfix.com/2013/08/richie-sambora-intervention-rumors-are-a-bunch-of-bs-exclusive/
The guitarist is disputing a gossip website’s report that Jon Bon Jovi demanded Richie undergo “rehab on the road” before he could be allowed to join the “Because We Can” world tour.
Richie tells RumorFix exclusively, “This is not true. This is the biggest bunch of BS.”
As RumorFix first reported Richie is not returning to the tour and he was fired by Jon over money issues.
Richie tells us, “No intervention ever took place. I truly wanted to come back to Bon Jovi for the fans.”
The 54-year-old rock legend is in Japan, where he appeared on ShopChannel with his business partner Nikki Lund. We are told his NikkiRich Clothing sold out. “I’m happy,” he says, “Business is booming, but I’m sad for the fans.”

RadarOnline claims Richie was fired from Bon Jovi because he refused to go to rehab
"Richie Sambora is gone from Bon Jovi, but not in a blaze of glory, as his substance abuse issues led to Jon Bon Jovi issuing a “rehab or the road” ultimatum that left him on the outside looking in.
As we previously reported, Richie and Jon have had a stormy relationship in recent times, with allegations of substance abuse and personality clashes.
Jon “has no intention of taking him back without Richie attending a serious rehab program,” an insider close to the band tells RadarOnline.com.
“Six weeks ago, he and Richie had a two-hour call to patch things up, but when Jon made it clear that he would not take him back before he went into rehab, it was a deal-breaker.
“Richie had his heart set on being back for the tour dates in New Jersey — the talk did not end well.”
The insider said that Sambora’s inner circle is “very concerned that he continues to drink in excess, despite doctor’s warnings about possible severe — and life threatening — liver damage.”
Sambora’s friends are urging him to move “away from the Hollywood scene” and “back to the East Coast” to help care for his aging mother, the source said.
The band’s manager has confirmed the guitarist’s departure, saying that “there were a lot of well-documented problems, so this was the best decision for now.”
He did not make a number of appearances on the current Because We Can tour.
The lothario musician has been in the past for 30 years, and famously been in high-profile relationships with Cher, Heather Locklear and Denise Richards."
http://t.co/1XOV548hatThere are a few problems with this story however: Bon Jovi's manager never made a statement. Also, it's very unlikely Richie's friends would advise him to move away from his daughter Ava.

And, it’s obvious whose side fashion designer Nikki Lund is on.
The British beauty, who is business partners with Richie, was spotted recently wearing a T-shirt supporting her favorite rocker.

NY Daily News says Bon Jovi split rumors are premature
http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/music-arts/bon-jovi-guitarist-richie-sambora-booted-band-reports-article-1.1435431#ixzz2ctTsIBlkHe’s in the band, and he's out of the band.Sambora, 54, has been with band for 30 years, since singer Jon Bon Jovi formed the group in 1983. A source familiar with Bon Jovi did tell the Daily News' Confidenti@l that reports of a split are incorrect and at best premature.
Bon Jovi lead guitarist Richie Sambora has been dropped after 30 years, according to RumorFix.com, which broke the story, and Us Weekly, which backed it up Friday.
However, sources close to the band say the group is still living on a prayer for now.
The 54-year-old Sambora has been with Jon Bon Jovi’s band since its formation in 1983 -- and he provided the licks on 12 albums that sold a total of 130 million copies.
"There were a lot of well-documented problems, so this was the best decision for now," a source told Us Weekly.
But a source familiar with Bon Jovi, while conceding communication between the band’s singer and guitar hero has been poor, said reports of a split are incorrect and at best premature.“The story of him being fired is not true,” the source told the Daily News' Confidenti@l. “Sambora has not been fired, nor has he left.”
Sambora took a leave from the band’s current tour in the spring for “personal reasons,” after failing to take the stage at an April 2 Calgary concert.
"I had two choices – pack up and go home or give you everything I got," Bon Jovi told the crowd, according to the Daily Mail. "Richie Sambora won't be performing for a while. If there's ever a night I need you, it's tonight, Calgary!"
The RumorFix.com report pinned the cause of Sambora’s alleged firing on money. Sambora was reportedly earning $2 million a month and 20 percent of the profits after each show on Bon Jovi’s current tour.
Stand-in Philip (Phil X) Xenidis -- who previously replaced Sambora during part of a 2011 tour when the guitarist was in rehab for alcohol abuse -- reportedly earns $10,000 a month.
A band spokesman refused to comment.

Showbiz411 claims Richie didn't quit Bon Jovi and he wasn't fired
Richie Sambora, guitarist extraordinaire, has NOT been fired from Bon Jovi. He’s not leaving the band after 30 years, as US Weekly has been proclaiming since early this afternoon. I’ve got it straight from the inside. What did happen: since Richie is not the fall Bon Jovi tour, his tech guys were let go rather than be paid to do nothing. So Sambora is not on this leg of the tour. What’s happened between him and Jon Bon Jovi? Let’s just say they have “issues.” Will Richie play on the next Bon Jovi album? It’s likely. US Weekly seems to have taken the story that Richie wasn’t on the tour and played “telephone” with it. Like all Bon Jovi fans, I can only hope that Jon and Richie mend their fences soon and get back to work making great music.

UsWeekly claims Richie quit Bon Jovi
http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/richie-sambora-leaves-bon-jovi-after-30-years-2013238#ixzz2ctDvFMSd"So much for being there forever and a day. After 30 years as lead guitarist for Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora has parted ways with the legendary rock band, a source confirms to Us Weekly. (RumorFix.com was first to report the split.)
"There were a lot of well-documented problems, so this was the best decision for now," the source tells Us. A rep for Bon Jovi had no comment.
Incidentally, Sambora, 54, has been absent from the group's ongoing Because We Can tour in recent months. "Due to personal issues, Richie Sambora will not be performing on this upcoming leg," a statement on the band's website read on April 3. "All shows will go on as scheduled."
The New Jersey native has been with Bon Jovi since the band's inception in 1983. In the 30 years since, the group has released 12 studio albums, three compilations, and two live albums. They've sold more than 130 million records worldwide and have performed in more than 50 countries all over the world. In 2009, Sambora and the band's namesake, Jon Bon Jovi, were inducted together into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
According to RumorFix, Sambora will still collect songwriting royalties and profits from merchandise."

Rumorfix claims Richie was fired from current Bon Jovi tour
"Bon Jovi fans brace yourselves.
Guitarist Richie Sambora IS NOT returning to tour with Bon Jovi this year — he’s been fired from the tour, RumorFix has learned exclusively.
Sources close to the band tell us it’s all about money. We are told just like any DIVORCE, their differences are irreconcilable.
Richie, who has been a member of the band for 30 years, was making $2 million a month and 20 percent of the profits after each show. His replacement Philip ‘Phil X’ Xenidis is only making $10,000 a month.
But don’t think Richie is going broke — since he co-wrote most of the songs and since his likeness appears on merchandise, he continues to get royalty checks.
Our source says, “Richie wants to go back on stage — that’s his first love. He’s really upset over the news.”
UPDATE: Richie and Jon’s camps are not commenting on the story, but Phil X tweeted “you know how I know http://RUMORFIX.com is full of sh*t? I wouldn’t even leave my house for that salary.”
We stand by our story.
